City Centre Mirdif presents first ever Looney Tunes programme as part of Dubai Summer Surprises
• Fun-filled activities for families during Dubai Summer Surprises at City Centre Mirdif • Live stage shows, workshops, activity zones and meet & greet areas until August 7 • Interactive show features Middle East timers Bugs Bunny , Daffy Duck, Slyvester, Tweety and friends
Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East and North Africa, has welcomed the cast of Looney Tunes to selected shopping malls for the first time in the region. Part of the Dubai Summer Surprises celebrations and in partnership with Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), City Centre Mirdif continues to present a family-filled Looney Tunes themed programme until August 7, before it moves to City Centre Deira.
A special interactive entertainment programme of activities and workshops are exclusively designed for families and children, including Sylvester mask making, a Bugs Bunny coloring template, Carrot mobile making, as well as a giant replica of Tweety Bird’s cage to explore.
Live stage shows, screenings of episodes from the well-loved animated series, offers of related games, surprises and prizes, as well as meet and greet opportunities with the famous characters, such as Daffy Duck, Tweety Bird, Sylvester and of course, Bugs Bunny, amongst others.
Entertainment listings for the Looney Tunes programming are listed below for each mall, including timings and venues:
Night Time Capers show
Exclusively at City Centre Mirdif, Sylvester and Tweety Bird will entertain the young ones and the young-at-heart with a humouristic 25-minute live stage show, followed by a Meet & Greet session with the characters.

Tweety & Sylvester’s kids workshop
Enter Tweety’s cage for fun this summer to watch classic cartoons, hone artistic skills by making a birdcage and Sylvester’s mask, and be rewarded with an instant prize. Available for all ages during mall hours, seven days a week.

Location: City Centre Mirdif – Central Galleria
Wun Wabbbit Wun show
Little ones will enjoy a 25-minute live show featuring Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, followed by an exclusive Meet & Greet. Three daily shows will be presented.

Timings: 5:30Ppm, 7:30pm, 9:30pm
Location: City Centre Deira – West Court, Level 2
Bugs Bunny Zone
A fun-filled kids’ workshop, where children can watch Bugs Bunny cartoons, make Bugs Bunny ears and carrot mobile, show artistic skills in coloring, and be rewarded with an instant prizes. Available for all ages during mall hours, seven days a week.
Date: August 8 - 17
Timings: 2-10pm
Location: City Centre Deira – East Court, Level 2
In addition to the entertainment, visitors will also get a chance to step up a gear and drive home an elegant brand new Mercedes Benz S- Class 400 for a minimum spend of AED 300 at any store within the mall.
Every Mastercard holder, who shops for AED 300 at any store within City Centre Deira, City Centre Mirdif and Mall of the Emirates, can get a chance to win a cash prize worth AED 500,000; while all visitors will get a chance to win daily prizes to up to AED 500,000 in gift cards from the three malls when spending AED 300 or more.
