The top spots to grab a meal deal in the UAE – families with little ones will love these money-saving feasts!
Dining on a budget? Check out these tasty, cheap eats
Eating out in Dubai can get costly, especially if you have an entire family to feed. But aside from the usual fast-food chain favourites, there are a plethora of pocket-friendly meal deals in the emirate offering tasty bites without the hefty bill.
Scroll below to check out our hit list of must-try meals, all of which ring in at AED 50 or less.
Din Tai Fung in Dubai
Originating in Taiwan, this under-the-radar foodie spot has amassed a loyal following thanks to their unique Xiao Long Bao and Huaiyang cuisine. If you have yet to visit, we highly recommend sampling one of their famous hot buns filled with meat, veggies or beans.
Also try the shrimp and chicken wontons (AED 30), beef dumplings (AED 30) or their signature chicken fillet (AED 30) – all of which will leave you with change for refreshments or some of their delicious homemade ice-cream (AED 16).
Nando’s
Nando’s in Dubai
This long-time favourite serves something for everyone, even vegetarians or fussy-eaters, thanks to a broad menu brimming with just about everything from burgers to pitas, wings and towering salads.
Famed for their Portuguese-style chicken, you can’t go wrong with the pulled chicken tigela combo served on a bed of spicy rice (AED 28) or the avocado, feta and chicken wrap with a side of peri-peri wedges (AED 43).
Nando’s is located in City Centre Deira and City Centre Mirdif
Kcal in Dubai
Affordable and healthy meals out do not always go hand in hand. That was until Kcal opened up shop in Dubai. Starting as a meal-plan delivery service, the nutritious concept café is now open inside City Centre Mirdif.
The real winning point? Every single dish on the menu is no more than 300 calories so you can feast out without the guilt. We can vouch for the lean and mean ciabatta (AED 30), spicy avocado burrito (AED 32) and the veggie chilli bowl (AED 42).
